Sealing Concrete

Protect Your Investment

We primarily use two types of sealers: acrylic solvent-based sealers and penetrating water-based sealers.

Acrylic sealers are commonly applied to stamped concrete and exposed aggregate surfaces. When used, they provide a glossy finish that enhances and darkens the color of the concrete, bringing out the rich tones and variations. While these sealers offer excellent weather protection, they can become slippery when wet, so they should be avoided on smooth surfaces or steep slopes.

Penetrating sealers, on the other hand, are ideal for broom or smooth concrete surfaces. They don’t alter the concrete’s appearance but instead penetrate the surface, creating a protective barrier that prevents moisture from soaking in and helps water bead off the surface.
