A Commercial Park / Seating Area
This project features thick, reinforced concrete pads with integrated structural piles “Pillars” that were installed to support a future pergola. Built for durability and high traffic, the pads were later fitted with securely bolted tables and benches, creating a clean, low-maintenance seating area. Located near schools and sports fields, the finished space offers a practical and inviting spot for the community to gather and relax.
Prepping The Pads
The first stage of this project involved careful excavation to accommodate 8-inch thick concrete pads along with space for a properly compacted gravel base. At the same time, each pad location was augered to install deep piles, allowing us to place reinforced rebar cages within them. This process created a strong, stable foundation designed to support both the concrete pads and the future structural elements above.
Almost Ready To Pour
In this stage, sonotubes were installed around each rebar cage to form the piles, then carefully aligned and plumbed to ensure precise placement. Every tube was set in the exact position needed to properly support the future pergola, keeping the entire layout clean, consistent, and structurally sound.
The Final Look
With the forms stripped and sonotubes removed, the finished concrete pillars are revealed, giving the space a clean, structured look. The pergola is now fully built and anchored to the piles, while heavy-duty tables and benches are securely bolted to the pads, bringing the entire area together. The result is a polished, commercial-grade seating and gathering space—durable, functional, and perfectly suited for resting, meeting, and everyday use
